Our newest project being worked on is a piece for the Midtown Greenway Coalition. Theresa Nelson, a Greenspace and Art Programs Director, came to speak to our class about the Midtown Greenway Coalition. The Greenway is a 5.2-mile trail connecting the Mississippi River with the Chain of Lakes. It is used as a bike and walking trail as well as an ecological connection for people and birds. For this piece, we were asked to create a possible campaign for the Greenway and our group has decided to create a brochure to promote its organic nature as well as available community involvement. Posted are beginning computer sketches that our group has created for this project. We plan to add hand-drawn elements to create the organic feel of the Greenway as well as promoting how to become "Part of the movement".
